After June’s solar eclipse, I was inspired to try a new idea. I didn’t really know if I was creating a sunset/sunrise or if I was making a red sun/moon eclipse. I just had a vague image in mind of what I wanted to create.
This piece received a lot of love on Instagram and sold rather quickly, but I still wasn’t quite satisfied and wanted to try something a little different. My second experiment was much closer to the feel I was going for.
I can still imagine doing more variations of colors and technique but I think I have satisfied my desire on this front and have officially moved on to new inspiration.
